Pump.fun ends 4x referral boost, shifts referrers to 1.5x rate

Pump.fun said it has ended a limited-time promotion that paid referrers four times the standard reward rate, announcing the change in a post on X from its official account. Under the new structure, referrers now earn 1.5x rewards, equal to 37.5% of the fees paid by the users they referred, according to Pump.fun's X post. The remaining 62.5% of that revenue will go toward the platform's Callout reward pool and other in-app incentives, the post said.

Pump.fun said it continues to distribute 100% of its platform revenue to users rather than keeping any for itself, and stated that cumulative reward payouts under its various programs have reached $30 million to date. The figures were repeated by several outlets, including PANews, Phemex News, which described Pump.fun as a Solana-based memecoin launchpad, and ChainCatcher.

None of the reports specified when the 4x bonus campaign began or how long it ran, nor did they detail how the $30 million total has been split between referrers and other reward recipients. The mechanics of the Callout reward pool and how its share of revenue is distributed were also not described in the announcement.
